I am writing this letter to let you know how very impressed I was with R---- C----- who was here and installed the flooring in my laundry room, entrance hall, and guest closet.

This man is absolutely outstanding and without a doubt the best workman of any type that I have ever experienced. He is outrageous, professional, thorough, immaculate in his work, and does a beautiful job with everything he touches. He went out of his way to make sure everything was done perfectly and to my satisfaction.

I recently had a dryer fire in my home and I was recommended by my employer Jacob Follrod Jr. about a friend of his for many years that restores your home back to the way it was before the fire. I called your company to see if you worked with my insurance company State Farm. I was informed that you did. State Farm had given a wonderful reference as well. Jason Thomas came to my home and treated me as if I was a family member he also recommended that we use Restorit Cleaning that was a sister company and worked with them. I am very pleased with your services.

The small details that needed to be addressed and completed were done in a timely manner. I appreciate all that Jason, Glenn, and Dana have done to help me get back into my home.

George Thomas Contractors recently completed a water damage job for me removing and replacing drywall, ceiling and carpeting and installing a custom wood floor. My project was slow getting started and I wondered what the result would be. But once Corey Nelson came on the job, my confidence increased that the job would be done well.

The quality of craftsmanship was high. I especially appreciated the attention to detail Corey Nelson showed. For example, he put protective pads on the kitchen chairs so they would glide over the new floor and he cut down the door to fit over the carpet at the entry. Corey rebuilt the window molding and edge molding which were damaged in the tearout and replaced a tract light and cable connection also damaged. These are just examples of his careful work.

Corey Nelson was dependable. He communicated with me regularly and kept his appointments as scheduled. That was very helpful to me. Jerry Mudd kept my project moving and I appreciated his assistance as well.

I have long held the belief that in this age of finger pointing, we are quick to criticize and place blame, yet, unwilling to acknowledge and accentuate the positive. When our insurance company discovered storm damage, the adjuster recommended George Thomas Contractors.

They did an excellent job of replacing and repairing the damaged drywall. Unlike some relatively small contractors, George Thomas, not only does good work, but they also call to let you know they are coming and they clean up afterwards. Although you are living through a construction project, they go the extra mile to minimize the inconvenience.

George Thomas employs many of his family members. His son, Jason, was the contact person on our job. The family has the same sense of pride that George has and consequently, perfection is the standard.

They perform quality work, within budget. Equally important, the company is family owned and operated, so their good name depends on their good work. I would highly recommend George Thomas Construction Company. Their work is superior and they run an organized, honest business.

I wanted to thank you for everything you have done so far at the Ridge at Taylor Station. Obviously it was a tragic event but your guys made it much easier for us to deal with the aftermath from the fires. They went above and beyond, including helping displaced tenants move items to new units and assisting them in finding items in their burned units. We all appreciate the courtesy they have shown to our tenants and to our employees. Not only that, they have also been hard workers and seem to be doing a good job on the demolition and reconstruction. Your sub-contractors likewise seem to be the same way.

I truly feel that you are looking out for our best interests, especially since our insurance company is involved; after what has happened at the Ridge-the scope of the fires and the complexity of demolition and reconstruction of the building in the first fire-we needed it.

I would say that I'd like to do more business with you, except that means another fire or a flood or some other disaster; and I have had enough for a while. So, suffice it to say, we appreciate your efforts and we would not hesitate to use you again and rely on your efforts and expertise. Thanks again.

Dean was instrumental in negotiating with our insurance carrier. His refined negotiation skills enabled us to receive higher quality repairs than we would have been able to negotiate on our own. Dean kept us up-to-date with timelines, which was greatly appreciated with our busy schedules. He was easy to reach and work with. He is an exemplary project manager.

Jack and Alfredo did an outstanding job with the repair. The room looks better than before the damage occurred. The level of professionalism far exceeded our expectations. You should be very proud to have such talented folks in your employ. I had to leave for business for a few days, and I was not the least bit concerned about leaving your staff in my home unattended. I wish I could say that about other folks.

Dear Sirs:

This letter is to express my sincere appreciation for your help with the hurricane damage to my roof. Who knew that Ohio would experience the winds and wrath of Hurricane Ike on that beautiful Sunday afternoon? Nevertheless, we did, and destruction to our home and grounds was overwhelming. Add to that, being without power or water for four days, and you can imagine how utterly defeated and shaken we were. It was hard to know what to do first, but then we remembered the fire that destroyed our condominium just three years before.

There was no question that the contractors we wanted for these repairs was the George Thomas group. Once I called, you folks were quick to assign a supervisor, who called me and we arranged for the repairs. When my doorbell rang and I saw the gentleman in the bright green shirt, I knew all would be well. He introduced himself as Craig, and after I showed him what all needed to be done, he reassured me that the work would be completed that day.

Not only was the work done that day, but also Craig cleaned up all the materials he used and those that were to be discarded. He was professional, personable, and I am certain beyond a doubt that the repairs he made are quality workmanship.

My last experience with George Thomas and the fire was no different. All of your personnel are competent, trustworthy and wonderful to work with in catastrophic situations or basic roof repairs. In my experience, and to a man or woman, your employees are the finest ambassadors and assets that you have serving the public. They are a great resource for those of us who are sometimes numb from the situation in which we find ourselves. They are an even greater resource to the company they represent and for whom they work.
